The group has also established itself as one of Europe’s leading producers of stationery articles and has sales companies in several European countries (Germany, Belgium, Spain, Great Britain, Italy, Ireland and Poland). The Exacompta Clairefontaine group was founded in 1996 from a merger of the following companies :
A fourth division was set up in 1998 around Clairefontaine Rhodia which includes the Office, School, Crafts and Fine Arts activities
The business links between the different entities are strengthened and coordination of their financial management procedures is made possible by virtue of the group’s structure.
The group has its head office at Etival Clairefontaine in the Vosges department and employs more than 3,500 people. The group has acquired unparalleled experience over its 150 years, beginning with Papeteries de Clairefontaine.
As part of a long-term family policy, Etablissements Charles Nusse holds 80.46% of Exacompta Clairefontaine’s share capital.
